Mayor Greg Bricker joined members of The Lady Slippers, Artists for the Museum of Ceramics, at the museum to draw the winning ticket for the group’s most recent fundraiser, $250 worth of lottery tickets. The lucky winner was Buzz Stansbury. The Lady Slippers are a group of women who support the museum in a variety of ways. In addition to participating in offered classes, they serve as docents and gallery sitters for museum sponsored art shows; they teach a variety of classes at the museum for children and adults; they conduct fundraisers; and provide continued support for museum events and activities.
